Basic

I. Initial Assessment

Administer highest concentration of oxygen as tolerated.
II. Focused History and Physical Exam
Determine past history.
Place patient upright or in a position of comfort.
Identify patient medications.
III. Ongoing Assessment
Continue monitoring of vital signs and patient's condition.
