.01 Purpose
To establish Rule and Regulations for the personnel of the Tupelo Fire Department that are particular to the Fire Department and which are not included in the City of Tupelo Personnel Rules and Regulations, and federal or state regulations and statutes.

.02 Scope

These rule and regulations apply to all personnel of the Tupelo Fire Department, unless specifically noted.

.03 Definitions

.031 PERSONNEL are all persons, uniformed and non-uniformed, employed by the City of Tupelo Fire Department.
.032 MEMBER is a uniformed firefighter or fire officer employed by the City of Tupelo Fire Department.
.033 FIREFIGHTER is a member who is in the ranks from Introductory Firefighter to Sergeant-Driver/Operator.
.034 FIRE OFFICER is a member who has attained the rank of Captain or Chief Officer.
.035 CHIEF OFFICER is a member who has attained the rank of Assistant Chief, Division Chief, Deputy Chief, or Fire Chief.
